Joint Injection Clinics

Dr Nash, Dr Castle and Dr Pandya can all perform joint injections.

If you have been told that you need a joint injection or think that one might be of benefit to you please make an appointment to see one of these GPs who will be happy to help you.

Joint injections can be done for arthritis affecting knees, frozen shoulders, tennis elbow/golfer’s elbow, trigger finger and for acute gout (Dr Nash).

Joint injections need a 15 minute appointment.


Led by our specialist diabetes nurse, this clinic offers advice and general health check-ups to patients diagnosed with diabetes.

Long Term Contraceptives

Patients considering having long term contraceptives need to see Dr Pandya initially to discuss suitability.

Coronary Heart Disease (CHD)

Our specialist CHD nurse runs this regular clinic giving advice and support to patients to maximise their health.

Contraceptive Pill Clinics

this clinic is coordinated by the Practice Nurse Team. Call in of phone the surgery in the normal way. You may see a GP or a Practice Nurse.

Childhood Immunisation Clinic

The clinics will are on a Wednesday afternoon and are an appointment based clinic.

If your child is due an up to pre-school age immunisation then please telephone the Practice to book into this clinic.

All babies are invited for scheduled immunisations from eight weeks old.

Blood Clinics

At Westlands, we offer a blood taking service which you can book in person, on the phone or online.


People with asthma can make an appointment for this clinic for advice and support from our nurse who specialise in asthma care.
